Judd has a decade of experience successfully litigating on behalf of clients in a wide range of matters in federal and state courts, as well as counseling clients during government compliance and regulatory investigations. Judd’s clients have included Fortune 100 media companies, healthcare and insurance companies, mortgage providers, auto manufacturers, professional services firms, and non-profit organizations. In addition to his corporate practice, Judd is passionate about providing pro bono counsel, previously leading firmwide projects and helping represent an innocent death row inmate in Alabama.
Judd’s commitment to justice has also led to accomplishments as a social entrepreneur. During a break from law firm practice, Judd founded a startup that developed a just alternative to bail bonds, which was featured in Forbes and The Star Tribune.
Judd is a graduate of Michigan Law School, where he received the Carl Gussin Memorial Prize for his trial work representing wrongfully convicted people at the Michigan Innocence Clinic, and the Irving Stenn, Jr. Award for his leadership and contribution to the Michigan Law School community. Judd also completed an externship (or stage) in intellectual property law at UNESCO in Paris, France, as a law student. Prior to law school, Judd graduated from UC Berkeley, where he studied mass communications and abroad at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain.
Judd is an avid traveler with his partner, as well as a lifelong horse racing fan and season boxholder at Santa Anita Park.
