Jonathan Orell is a partner in the Finance and Real Estate groups, specializing in sophisticated and complex finance and real estate transactions. A trusted and strategic advisor, Jon offers extensive experience in the leasing, acquisition, sale, and financing of commercial properties and all asset classes.
His practice focuses on serving a diverse range of real estate clients, including owner-operators, real estate developers, and investors in connection with land acquisition, ground-up developments, and lenders in financing matters for commercial properties including restaurants, shopping centers, office buildings, and multi-family properties. He counsels both lenders and borrowers in complex commercial lending transactions, including syndicated and participated loans, mezzanine financing, acquisition financing, and credit enhancement. Jon also has experience representing developers in low-income housing tax credit transactions.
