Jolanda De Jong

With offices in Maastricht, Amsterdam and Venlo, Wolfs Advocaten specialises in legal solutions for entrepreneurs in the Netherlands and abroad. Wolfs Advocaten is a so-called full-service firm, where all areas of (civil) law are covered. The firm is mainly specialised in the field of (international) transport law, business law, international commercial law, customs law and insurance law.

Wolfs Advocaten now consists of a young, dynamic team of around 20 attorneys, lawyers and support staff. Jolanda is one of the lawyers of the Dutch law firm Wolfs Advocaten with ample experience in (among others) the fields of Civil Law, Criminal Law and Cannabis Law. Jolanda gained this experience by working for several (inter)national organisations whilst studying for two Master's degrees at the University of Groningen: Victim Support Netherlands (in Dutch: Slachtofferhulp Nederland), Rechtswinkel Groningen, the Dutch Institute for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology (in Dutch: Nederlands Instituut voor Forensische Psychiatrie en Psychologie), the International Federation for Health and Human Rights Organizations and Global Health Law Groningen.
 

As a legal counsel of Victim Support Netherlands, Jolanda provided legal advice to victims of traffic accidents, crimes or misdemeanors. And so, gaining ample experience in the field of Criminal Law as well as Insurance and Liability Law. ​​​​​​​

At the Rechtswinkel Groningen, Jolanda provided legal advice to individuals with all kinds of legal problems in the field of (inter)national Civil Law. 

At the request of the Dutch Institute for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology and the University of Groningen, Jolanda collaborated on a study into the problems surrounding behavioral counter-expertise. The study resulted in a publication and an honorable mention in the context of the Ben Feringa Award. 

At the request of the International Federation for Health and Human Rights Organizations and Global Health Law Groningen, Jolanda collaborated on the project "Voices in the Field". The project gives insight in the developments in the field of International Health Law and Human Rights Law. And so, gaining experience in yet another field of law.
