Hector “Hec” C. Pascual is a Philippine CPA with more than Twelve (12) years of overall experience in external audit, internal audit, fraud audit, tax compliance audit, due diligence &
valuation, business process review, special engagements and accounting functions. He has vast experience in local taxation and general knowledge in Australian taxation.
His professional career started when he engaged himself to one of the big four auditing firms in the Philippines back in 2013 which subsequently gained his extensive knowledge in financial audits
of companies registered in the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) & the Board of Investments (BOI), of which businesses span in the areas of manufacturing, sub-assembly,
trading, information technology, manpower placement, and non-profit activities.
He then moved on to another accounting firm where he was seconded to UHY Malaysia and
was tasked to co-lead and audit a subsidiary of one of the biggest distributor and supplier of
quarry machinery and equipment in various countries in Southeast Asia (Malaysia,
Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia). Adding to his extensive
experience in the field of Audit, Hector also undertook a specialized training with UHY
Malaysia’s technical head.
Academe is also one of his passions as Hec is currently part of several institutions (as a
faculty member) namely: the De La Salle University (DLSU); Systems Technology Institute
College (STI College), and the CPA Online Review School. His craft is aligned at educating
students under the subjects of Accounting & SAP.
Hec completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod
ng Maynila (Manila City University) in August of 2022. He then became a Certified Tax
Technician in November of 2022. He is a member of the following professional associations
namely: the Philippine Association of Certified Tax Technicians, Inc. (PACTTI); Philippine
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA); and the Association of Certified Public
Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP)
