Heather is an employment and labor attorney who helps employers navigate complex workplace issues, from employee leave policies and discrimination claims to wage disputes and terminations. She also conducts workplace investigations and trainings, and advises on compliance, non-compete agreements, and personnel policies.
In addition to providing strategic counsel, Heather represents employers in lawsuits involving breach of contract, trade secret matters, and claims of discrimination or wrongful termination. She regularly defends clients before government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. Heather is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern District of Ohio.

- Represents employers in employment-related litigation in federal and state courts, including claims involving breach of contract, tortious interference, trade secret misappropriation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), American with Disabilities Act (ADA), Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PFWA), and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
- Defends employers against charges or complaints filed with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Labor (DOL), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and Unemployment Compensation Review Commission (UCRC).
- Conducts thorough, fair, and impartial workplace investigations.
- Provides workforce training and development programs.
- Drafts employment documents, inclusive of employee handbooks, employment agreements, offer letters, and restrictive covenant agreements.
