Based in Lagos, Nigeria since 2016, Genco is Founder and Director of Deepleef Resources Ltd (Nig.) and Deepleef International Ltd (Mauritius). The companies provide consultancy services to Private Equity and Venture Capital funds and target companies in West Africa, with a focus on Nigeria. These services range from business valuation to assigning ad-interim C-suite executives as well as board memberships. Genco is also a Director of The Big Bottling Company (Big.) Ltd, a subsidiary of the AJE Group (Peru) and of Eagleson Cassava, a backward integrated Nigerian agri-processor. 

Prior to settling in Nigeria, Genco spent 27 years as an investment banker, in the capital markets and derivatives divisions of prestigious institutions such as JPMorgan, Credit Suisse, Citibank and Commerzbank.

In 2021, Genco was nominated “Advisor in Economic Diplomacy for Nigeria” to the Kingdom of Belgium.

More recently, he was granted the Title of Bobasanya (Chief) of Ososa, Ijebu Land, Nigeria.
