Accel IP Law is a diverse group of highly experienced US attorneys. We are dedicated to providing Value Added services to our clients, bringing decades of legal and business experience from working within major corporations and multi practice firms.
We share a set of common understandings on how we practice law. This begins with developing close team relationships with our clients and our cross border partner firms. We seek the highest levels of satisfaction. Our Mission is grounded in a holistic team approach to ensure that our clients have a partner by their side in every aspect of their business and IP endeavors.
In 2018 several of us came together after abandoning the silo style of traditional multi practice law firms. We have leveraged new technologies and the LEAN Principles of modern business processes. We bring cross functional teams with readily accessible attorneys to maximize client satisfaction. We believe that with our "partner" approach we are able to provide our clients a 360 degree roadmap for success in all their IP and business goals.

For over a decade Diana has established herself as the go-to brand builder for start-ups, a savvy business protector and an adept strategist in structuring IP transactions. She works with individual inventors, startups, and technology-based companies to build and leverage robust intellectual property portfolios based on assertable patents, copyright and trademark registrations and trade dress. She advises clients on selecting the best forms of IP protection for their businesses, and when it can be most appropriate to rely on trade secret laws to protect technology and business information. She serves as lead attorney in complex and cross-border commercial transactions of closely held companies.
Diana's technical degrees are in the biological and chemical fields, including the M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She represents clients in acquiring patent protection in the life sciences. More generally, Diana assists inventors and creators with securing all forms of IP protection across a wide variety of intellectual property assets. These range from renewable energy technologies and biotechnologies to children's toys and games. Examples include digital assets, books, courses, consumer and household goods, complex industrial machinery, construction materials, medical devices and diagnostics, hemp-related inventions, cosmetics, alcoholic beverages, fashion and jewelry, software and source code, and graphical user interfaces.
Prior to the awarded of her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, Diana acquired technical degrees in Biology and Environmental Science and a M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. While at the University of Florida, she worked as a research assistant in immunology and nuclear magnetic resonance laboratories. There she studied the relative in vitro stimulatory effect of mutant and wild-type isolated lipoteichoic acid and performed comparative metabolic profiling with the use of carbon 13 and proton NMR probes.
Diana's undergraduate honors thesis research at Texas A&M International University was on sediment toxicity, invasive species eradication methods, streamflow hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, historical watershed mapping with geographic information systems, and water quality analyses based on biogeochemical parameters.
