Mr. Göçen is among the very few Turkish lawyers who hold a CPA license and is also entitled to act as a Trademark Attorney before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. He has M.A., LL.B. and B.A. degrees from Istanbul University.
Mr. Göçen is specialized in company law, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance compliance, intellectual property law, contract drafting, real estate, lease and tax law, etc.
Mr. Göçen has worked on the incorporation of local and foreign invested companies, branches and liaison offices, consulted national and multinational clients on all corporate matters, advised them on M&A projects, capital/equity structuring and restructuring, and reviewed/drafted a large variety of agreements. He has also represented clients before courts to resolve disputes on taxation, zoning plans and urban transformation and to secure shareholder rights of the investors.
