Colin is the Managing Partner of Limestone Capital SRL as well as the Principal Consultant of Strategic Consulting & Advisory Services. He provides strategic business solutions to his clients including; pricing and costing of goods and services to deliver business profitability, business strategy consulting, succession planning and organizational planning. In addition, he advises on corporate structures, debt restructuring, business combinations and valuations.
Colin has worked in Barbados, Bermuda, Canada and the Cayman Islands. He started his career with a major accounting firm where he earned experience in audit accounting and management consulting before moving into the international business sector. His broader experience includes the financial services sector, captive insurance, hospitality, information technology and the public sector. He has served in the capacity of either CFO or Controller in a number of organizations.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants Association of Canada having gained his designation in 1990 and joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados in 1992. He was elected to fellowship of both Associations in 2004. In addition, he has completed programs with the Association of Corporate Secretaries and Administrators in Canada and the Canadian Securities Course. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting and Applied Technology from the Sothern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Colin is currently a part-time lecturer in Taxation at the University of West Indies, Cave Hill School of Business. He has previously lectured in Audit and Computer Based Accounting at the same institution in the 1990’s. Additionally he also lectured in Management Accounting for the CGA program. More recently he lead sessions in the Government of Barbados’ financial literacy program in Costing and Pricing.
