Biography

Ben is a Partner at Park Place Corporate Finance in Leeds specialising in lead advisory work for mid-market private companies, shareholders and management teams.

He advises clients on a wide range of transactions covering a broad spectrum of sectors and involving companies valued between £2 million and £800 million. He is particularly active on transactions that provide exits or value realisations for business founders and owner managers. He has also advised management teams on a series of high value private equity-backed management buy-outs (both primary and secondary).

His experience also includes cross border M&A including the £60m sale of UK-based turbo specialist Melett to US-based Wabtec Corporation and the sale of UK-based EMR-for-ophthalmology business Medisoft to German aquirer Heidelberg Engineering.
