We are a specialised and highly experienced business and political risk advisory firm. We have arguably more experience researching and advising clients on risk in countries of the Former Soviet Union than any of our peers, making us a well-known name among global consultancies and service firms in the region.

Our services range from micro-level work on specific companies and individuals, such as pre-transactional due diligence reporting or KYC / compliance-driven research, to more complex problem solving, including in dispute situations – such as forensic support and asset tracing. On a macro footing, we are able to advise clients in-depth on sectoral, legal environmental changes – including detailed monitoring, as well as on crisis planning and sanctions risks.

We are headquartered in the UK. But traditionally key jurisdictions have included Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine – though over the years we have fanned out into other jurisdictions directly and indirectly related to the FSU. Our team of about 20 specialist analysts is spread over several countries and now includes Kazakhstan, Turkey, Latvia and Spain.
