He served as Bar-Bench Commercial Court users Committee.
In 2008, he was appointed on the first ever general audit committee under the Public Finance and accountability Act and still serves on the Government Audit Committee.
Starting as an external legal counsel, Alex served on Boards of Banks and serves Banks now as an external legal counsel at NARE. Alex won the confidence of management and the board of one of the leading banks in Uganda rising to be one of its Director currently. He is also the Chairperson, board audit committee of that bank. The entailed a rigorous approval process of the Central Bank of Uganda.
He also serves on several Boards as a Director and others as Secretary.
With a wealth of Board experience and increasing confidence, Alex was appointed the Chairman Board of Directors of a Bank in a neighbouring country where the same bank has expanded to. That appointment was approved by the Central Bank of that country with all that it entails.
Similarly, but unrelated starting as a principal legal advisor on the hotel project in a neighbouring country, the developers appointed Alex as a Director and later as a Chairman of their Board of Directors, a position he held until recently when the International hotel was commissioned and went into operations.
