Achim Heuser, the firm’s Principal Partner, has extensive experience as legal counsel. Mr. Heuser’s extensive expertise has been gained both in a law firm and corporate settings.
After gaining valuable experience at a well-respected law firm that was exclusively focused on labor and employment matters, he began his corporate career when he joined the Human Resource Department of an internationally recognized company. Within months of moving to the corporation, Achim Heuser was asked to join the Legal Department and expanded his labor and employment practice to include international commercial law, negotiations and corporate transactions. In this function Achim Heuser supported the restructuring process and established a real estate department for the corporation.
After rapidly progressing through the Legal Department, Mr. Heuser was appointed General Counsel for the company and in addition leading all legal matters for the corporation, Mr. Heuser led several merger and acquisition matters on behalf of his employer.
Achim Heuser has been the Principal Partner of HEUSER RECHT UND STEUERN since 1993. In addition to his extensive legal experience, he is an internationally recognized author and speaker in the areas of international taxation, labor & employment and commercial and corporate transactions.
